Think Pink: How to Work Pink into Your Everyday Wear

Although I’m partial to the neutral wardrobe (white, grays, black, navy…), I’ve discovered how fun it can be to mix in some color now and again. A recent obsession – pink. Ranging from millennial pink to bubble gum pink, many shades act as an accent color that matches [almost] everything.

With warm summer months as the perfect excuse to experiment with a little pop of color, scroll to read how to incorporate shades of pink into your everyday wear.

  • All Dressed Up: The best dresses are the ones you can wear with both tennies and heels. This fun and frilly dress from Hello Fashion is comfy and unexpectedly versatile.

  • Cute and Comfy Tee: Though I normally gravitate towards the plain white tee (which will always have its place), I found myself reaching for this irresistible bubble gum pink knotted t-shirt from Madewell. The shade pairs especially well with white, denim and army green.

  • Over the Top: For more formal wear, a millennial pink blazer or jacket is the perfect way to mix in color to your work-wear while still remaining polished and professional.

  • The Accessory Scarf: Bandanas are my current go-to accessory for pretty much any outfit. Wear it in your hair, around your neck, tied around your wrist or on a bag for a little pop. Try Madewell for similar styles.

  • A Statement Purse: A pink cross-body is a great alternative for the everyday bag. This cute little guy comes from J-Crew.

  • Bright Sunnies: As a subtle statement piece (if that’s a thing), a pair of pink shades like these from Urban Outfitters are a great addition to any summer outfit.
